TTThis datalogger has been designed specifically for use outdoors to record ambient temperature and humidity levels.
Fitted with a radiation shield, which forms the housing for the combined temperature & humidity sensor, this rh-t datalogger has complete weather protection whilst allowing the free passage of air. It does so by utilising the radiation shield which reduces sensing element measuring error. This is due to temperature rises caused by solar radiation during the day and outward radiation as a result of clear skies at night.
Apart from the more rapid thermal response, the performance of this particluar rh-t datalogger is comparable to that of the more traditional Stevenson Screen.
